Everyday, Everywhere, and Always

When you run into challenges in life, what’s your first reaction?

I’d like to say that I always turn to God right away and remember His promises to me. But if I’m honest, I often turn to other places more quickly. I may,

  • fret
  • think of a way out
  • act out of emotion

When challenges come up, I try to remember this specific promise:

“And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:20 NIV).

This may be the central promise of Jesus. It flows out of the Gospel and is a foundation for many, if not all other promises!

What a difference it makes for me, no matter where I am or what I’m dealing with, to remember that Jesus is with me.

Be encouraged. No matter what you face today, our friend, Lord, and King—Jesus—is with you.
